For each guitar player listed on the left you’ll find a list of some of their recordings.

Most of the listed recordings are from early periods in a player's career and offer the most insight into his/her early style and technique.

Less newer material for these players is listed (say after about 1960) because that material is readily available, usually on CD.

The lists are not intended to be complete discographies.

The Lord Jazz Discography is used to verify the recordings in these lists, especially the obscure recordings and the early 78s. Also, for consistency, the Lord Discography is used to verify the spelling of player's names. This means the spelling may differ slightly from the spelling on records and in some biographical sources.
